One of the cool things about most 3d sculpting packages is that you can paint colour and sculpt at the same time. Is there anyway to do this in blender?
I would imagine so, vertex/ Ptex painting, coupled with sculpting, and multi-res should be enough to form a fairly solid work flow. You may need to wait a little while until all of the various tools are finalized though, and possibly for 2.5x to come out of beta.
It would be, but can you see it happening? At the moment they are all different modes. How would it be implemented? Shift + mode selection?
