my hair is not like that anymore and I could def have the particles better , but had only been using blender four about four weeks by this point. was still figurin it out ,. I would have to do topology on it if I am to pose or animate it. it is hard sculpted but I put to many faces still:no:
Bravo! after four weeks started on blender i had the ability to only put a cube on a plane :-).
Before going on the hair& particles part, may i suggest you to add sculpting details, using multires modifier and different brushes on sculp mode you can give a very credible skin surface.
Keep on with it, if in only four week you can do something like that i suppose in few months you will give us lot of surprises.
4 weeks? Wow! Pretty good work, but there’s something wrong with the eyelids. Try pulling the bottom eyelid up. Add some more material right above the upper eyelid to form a crease, like this image: http://www.drlavine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/eyelid-surgery.jpg
