Sculpting a character

I created a base for my character using MakeHuman (it is still hard for me to create anatomically correct characters using only blender) and I exported it to blender. Then I used sculpt mode to add detail to it and to modify it but I noticed after making some progress on it that when I switch back to object mode, it doesn’t show the progress I had made in sculpt mode and shows only the base from which I had started to modify it, then when I switch back to sculpt mode it shows it again. I think there’s an easy fix for this problem but I just can’t figure out what it is.

If you are using the Multiresolution modifier you will need to set the subdivision level you want to use for the viewport with the modifier ‘Preview’ value
