Sculpting a Fan's Drawing in Blender - Workflow Explained

In this video I will show you how I turned a fan’s drawing into a 3D sculpt, explaining my workflow throughout the video:

Really cool. I love all your vids --You are a truly gifted artist

Yes, and what really stands out to me is the lighting and composition of all four of your still-images. You have really made this girl “beautiful and bad-ass,” and I mean that as a compliment. You’ve made excellent use of high-key lighting and included little critically-important touches like catch-lights in the eyes and on the lipstick. In the side profile, the character is almost completely framed by rim-light. The hair doesn’t look like Medusa – it really makes the whole thing work and fits with this whole style of artwork.

“It’s the little things” that push a portrait like this from good to fantastic, and this is certainly fantastic. Thanks for sharing how you did it.

Thanks guys!!

nice and thanks for sharing. But, sorry, I feel that the girl’s face are some fat which is not mere fat but caused by disease.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
