Hello there, I am trying to sculpt some front-facing polygons but my brush gets occluded by back-facing polygons. My geometry looks like an inverted tube. A screenshot to illustrate the problem:
I know about the front-facing brush option, unfortunately that does not help in this circumstance. Until now I have moved the viewport inside the tube or manually hid the occluding polygons. This is however rather cumbersome. Any help would be appreciated.
In sculpt mode you also can switch to edit mode with TAB and select the faces in front of the position you wanna sculpt and hide them… then switch/TAB back to sculpt mode…
Thanks, yes I used that workflow also. I was hoping there was a setting for the brush to only project on front facing polygons even if there are backfacing polygons in the way. I guess I will have to hide things manually.
