See/change dimension for a selected part of a mesh from one object in a property field

Hi,

how can i see the dimension in edit mode and how can i change the dimension for x-axis by input? I know s + x + number, but is there a way to see the dimension for a selected part of a mesh from one object in a property field and change the value?

Not “directly” but you ma try enableing showing the edge length for selected ones:
