Not sure if this is an acceptable place to place a post looking for freelance artists, but I figured I’d give it a shot.

My company is looking for several Blender artists for a large training project (50-60 animations). The subject matter is very mechanical in nature, with minimal character work required (and almost all of that will be still characters that we already have created or have the rights to use). There is a strong emphasis on photo-realistic texturing and lighting.

We have one Blender artist on staff that has already created the overall style and will help to maintain a consistent look throughout the animations.

could i ask for a few details?

*what will the models be that need creating?
-medical machinery?
-Factory machinery?

Have you got a link to a company website?

50-60 animations? how long would these be on average?

Factory machinery…

The animations will all be fairly short (10-20 seconds) and they will all be very inorganic.

might wont to post up some more information alongside with the amount your willing to pay and such

Because of the client, I prefer not to go into too much detail on the forum… if you would like more information on the project, email me ([email protected]) along with past examples of work and I will provide it if I think you fit the project. Rates depend on skill level and turnaround time (anything ranging from $20/hr. to $65+/hr)… We are not trying to outsource the entire project… we just need a couple of freelancers to lighten the load.
