I was sorta thinking out loud when I remembred other similar work, I don’t know if all of them used some sort of CAD data to make such precise models, even tho I know it’s possible to make them from scratch if you have deep engineering knowledge.

then I searched the size of the pistons and determine the scale of the cylinder block
After that, I modeled parts from inside to outside with checking consistency
