The first and last renders might have some kind of “artifact” that seems to be only on the left side of the bottle. (But not the glass.) But this presentation is quite good throughout. The product owner would be pleased.
The whole work is quite good! Congrats.
One thing has puzzled my mind… the mountain in the label doesn’t give me any link to the Madeira Island… It doesn’t resamble the Pico Ruivo or any geographic feature there, and the colors also don’t help, in that sense alone, as the island is quite green overall.
Also, in the “Flavor Notes” image (and in the video), the poured wine is «too aggressive»… Certainly not the way a wine connoisseur would like the wine to be served.
All the rest is quite pleasant and well structured.
Thank you very much for spending time looking at my work! This is very much appreciated!
I actually have a spotlight in the top right diagonal. It’s a beam spread in a very tiny angle and low power, so I can keep it just to fill the label and bring it a little bit more for the viewer…
Hey! I really appreciate your time and feedback—thank you so much! And you’re absolutely right!
Regarding the label art: the mountain represents Mount Olympus, and the whole design revolves around Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. Since Madeira Island wasn’t part of the commercial’s briefing, I didn’t incorporate it into the design. The same applies to the color choices — a deep blue for the night sky, with golden accents for the moon and stars. While it’s true that it’s a Madeira wine, the entire concept was based on Selene.
Or maybe my design just wasn’t good enough… You know, these things happen.
As for the pouring wine scene, you’re absolutely right again. I could say it was a kind of poetic license to make the scene more appealing, but honestly, it was my mistake. I’m still learning how to handle fluid simulations in vanilla Blender, and I haven’t fully figured out some of the settings yet. But I’m working on it!
Maybe someday I’ll revisit the file and improve the scene.
Anyway, thanks again for your feedback — I truly appreciate it!
