Select all geo based on assigned material?

May I ask, in Blender 4, is there a way to select all the geometry that has been assigned to a material?

Hoping I can right click on a material and select all geo that it is assigned to.
I’m hoping there is a way to do this without code.

You can select an object with the same material as Hot Key Shift+L. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello oo_1942. May I ask, where do I Shift+L on the material? The materials in the Material Properties and Shading window do not respond to the Shift+L.

If I Shift+L in the viewport and select material, I do not appear to get all the geo assigned to the material.

Select the object to which the material has been assigned and press Shift+L to bring up the selection menu.

Try Material Utilities Addon (default Addon) for more extended features.

Select material

Hello, Matakani, for some reason, when I hit the “Select” button, only one object is selected.

Both of these objects have the same material applied.

However, when I go into Edit Mode, only one the small object is selected when I press the "Select " button.

Wait, now the “select” button works. Thank you. :grinning:
