Select Circle Tool bug? Need confirmation

Hello,

found this strange behavior with Select Circle, cant use Select - Select More/Less - Next Active
or may be its keymap conflict somewhere, however I use standard Blender keymap.
“Selection pair not found”


I think last selected element need to be highlighted as current selected element like with regular selecting with Tweak tool

Yes, i have the same behavior. “Circle select” seems to work different so using “Next Active” is not working.
It also didn’t work if you select the first quad with “Circle select” and the second one with “Mouse select”. So i would call there is a bug.

Im having the same issue with 3.1. Is there a work around?

If you don’t have an active element then I’m not sure what you expect, these operators rely on an element being active to function. Unless I misunderstood what the issue really is

I fixed it mate. I had q mapped to my circle select and just turned it off and added it to the tweak tool instead. It works fine now. Thanks.
