How to only select sharp edges blender 2.8

is there a way to select sharp shaded edges? im not talking about the “select sharp edge” thing under the select menu, as that selects edges based off of its angle. but i need to select every single edge that has a sharp smoothing group to it, and its a pretty big model so it will take quite a while, is there a way to select these automatically? why i need this? im going to sculpt inn details using zbrush and since its such a low poly mesh ill have add a really tiny bevel to the sharp edges…

Can only select all edges not sharp edges when I choose select sharp edges

Can you not select one sharp edge (in Edge mode) and then hit Shift+G and choose Sharpness?

Just wanted to reselect all marked sharp edges but then I get al edges selected. I am choosing select-sharp edges.
