I’m wondering how to do this (7:54 in the video) in Blender 2.8.
I did it using F3 and found “Select shortest path”, which it says is in the “mesh” drop down, but I don’t see it there. Thank you very very much.
You can use ctrl+right click. It will choose shortest path from last active.
mmm. that seems to be extruding a vertex. I’m looking to do what the guy does in the video at 7:54. He has two vertices selected (with a bunch of other vertices in between) and uses those two vertices to select all of the vertices in between. I’m probably not explaining it very well, but in the video it’s much clearer.
Like i said, it’s essentially “select shortest path”, but I kinda want to know where that button is actually located. I’m not a big fan of F3 searching everything without knowing where the actual button is found.
I use right click select. Might be ctrl+left click or something else if you use a different keymap.
