Selecting highest vertex of mesh through Python

Hi all!Firstly sorry for my English.Is there anyway to select the hishest point,vertex of mesh by using Python.I tried myself but i could not.Thanks for any help!Blender 2.79

Just enumerate verts in bmesh and check v.co[2] of each vert
Do the google, there is plenty of examples
