I am coming from Maya and maya lets me make selection sets. They can be a selection of objects or faces or verticies. So that when I need to select these specific items I can using the selection set.
Does Blender have anything like that?
Use this feature or look for Addon.
Collections are pretty much what you are looking for.
There isn’t a survive Actual selection set feature.
