The walk cycle is kinda rough but gives it a nice limp/lurch so I left it.
Originally, there was an armature to control the legs but - simple as it is - I kept running into weird little problems and ended up just animating the 6 objects that make up the legs. I’m going to try get the armature fixed if I do anything else with this though
Hmmm. Wonder if the French revolutionaries, way back in the day, could have used something like this . . .
The “slightly lurching” walk cycle actually works really well here. It, and the “bobbling” of the blade, really gives this little guy some character. Might have been a bit tedious to get it done, but it looks really good to me. And, I just love the absurd idea.
