Well this is supposed this is supposed to become an optics shop. It started as a project for the 3dsmax course i used to attend, but now I want to remake the whole scene in blender…
Please post your comments and critics…
i think it could be better in lux.
but everything else is great!
Rendering:
- Run a few anti-aliasing passes
- Render caustics
- Like ionee said, you might want to try another renderer (like LuxRender, Yafaray)
Modeling:
- Some of the glasses (esp. on the lower shelves) are missing nose-pieces
- You probably want to have multiple glasses designs, or at least varied frame colors
Scene:
- The room’s wall color is highly non-standard and distracting – if it’s not central to the room’s aesthetics, you might consider revising or perhaps making the paint two-tone?
- The table in the middle of the room needs a purpose – Is it a sales desk? If so put a computer on it. Is it a fitting table? If so put a toolbox, mirror, and stool by it. . .
