this is a pen i modeled awhile back for a speed modeling contest and i figured it would be a good candidate for a realistic render…so i added a base and some other objects for content…this was rendered in yafray using hdri for lighting and reflections, and the dof filter…
wow, i think its very realistic. Good work!, the DOF gives it even more realism

Everything but the table looks great. You need a higher res texture on the table top and it will be perfect.

The floor needs fixing and the reflecting balls need to be round. You can see the jaggies.
