semi-transparent in 3d viewport

hey, im making a car at the minute and im using purple’s awesome script that puts the images onto a plane and sets it all up for you. the problem is i cant see through the mesh and i cant go into wire fram mode since then i cant see the blueprint. i was wondering if there is a way to make the mesh semi-transperent in the 3d viewport?

help would very much be appriecated

Press F7, and in the Draw panel set Drawtype to Wire.

thanks

it seems ive learnt something new about blender…yet again :stuck_out_tongue:

Or you could temporarily turn the material’s alpha down to, say .3, and enable Transp in the same F7 drawtype panel.

it doesnt work when i got into edit mode, the transparent materails that is :frowning: ive got it solved but its a bit slower now since i have to go set shaded remove wired frames and transpancy just to see what the mesh looks like in shaded 3d view

thanks any way though
