Sending keyinput over LAN

I am currently making a third person shooter game, I roughly have information on how to create a server and join it as a client, but I dont know how to send the keyinputs of the clients as data to the server or to other players.

can someone please help me on this?

I’m learning python myself at the moment and if you are learning too, I’d recommend getting “Learning Python” and/or “Programming Python” from O’Reilly. I think the programming book has some examples on (custom) client/server communication. Not 100% sure though.
