Hi guys,

I think that this is the first work I post here. Really appreciate critiques about it in everyaspect. Hope you enjoy it! :slight_smile:

This was made for a Blender Italia contest about robots.

Cycles Render 1024 (for the robot without DoF) and 512 (for the background with DoF). Edited in Blender compositing and then final adjustment and image fusion in GIMP and PS.
Why GIMP and Photoshop? Because I know how to do something in GIMP and something in PS. (I know shame on me. As like doing in Blender compositing will be better but…same problem here so…more shame on me)

Great work :slight_smile: I like the texturing in particular.
Maybe you could have gotten into a bit more detail while modeling, but still looks good.

Absolutely true. Unfortunatly I was a little busy during the entire contest time so, due to the short ammount of time remaining, I decided to keep the geometry as simple as possible and concentrate into materials and story. Glad you like it. Next time I will concentrate more on modelling for sure! :smiley:
