separate mesh joined UV

Hi all is it possible like in 3ds Max having separate mesh with joined uv map?
thnx for the help

Sorry, no. each object has its own UV map in blender.

The only way I could think of would be to join the meshes, create the UV and set it up as required, then in edit mode, select the polys for the second object and split into a unique object again. That way both objects, though having their own UV map, would share the same UV texture.

Take a look at the “UV: Texture Atlas” add-on, and see how that suits you. Might be what you’re looking for.

ok thank you all for the answer i believe that there’s no easy way of do it…

I wouldn’t say the join / split method was difficult. I use it when using Blender to build cars to import into the Maniaplanet racing games. The wheels, windows and details have to have one UV with the body having another. Once built, you just isolate the wheels. It’s a two minute job.
I have a done a quick example video to show what I mean, currently uploading.
Even in the video, it takes longer as I am typing in what I am doing on screen instead of just doing it.
