i have a plane and a sphere, i need to select the plane, but when i click on it it also selects the sphere. do i have to seperate them somehow?
you can always put them in diferent layers if you’re having that much trouble by pressing the m-key and selecting a different layer
you probably added one of them while still in edit mode. simply duplicate the object (shift+d) and in edtie mode (tab) delete from each copy the opposite shape (sphere/palne).
Like @ner says you probably added the new object while still in edit mode which adds the new verts to the current object. Just press “p” and a separate popup comes up – choose “loose parts”
