Sequence Editor -> Movie speed

I googled, i searched all the doc, my blender book and the elysiun forum but i could not find the answer:

How can i play with the speed of a movie in the sequencer? say add a video, how can i scale it so it play the same number of frame but in a different time.
For scene thisis easy: map old-map new. but for movie it look like there is not support for slow motion.

Maybe a work around if this isn’t possible?

re-render at a different framerate I guess

(you can move the begin/endpoints of strips, but I don’t know that it will scale frames)

You can try adding an IPO to the strip, see if that works

The only curve (Facf0, the name means nothing to anyone who doesn’t write plugins) is a scale from 0 to 1 where 0 means the start and 1 means the end.

I don’t know if it works for scenes or movies, but it changes things like where the fade is up to in a crossfade, etc.

That just extends the first and last frame of the move (respectively).

scaling a strip could be usefull, though
