Service spaceship

I like the way you put some secondary meaning into the egg shape. But in my mind “egg” does not say “spaceship” at all, so you will have to rely a little more upon your details and setting to convey that message.

It seems to be coming along nice. I would make some of you edges more defined as they can get lost at a distance and then the whole thing would just become a blob (unless that’s what you want).

RE: high tech=simple in nature. Have you ever seen a Phased Array radar?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phased_array
They do not move. The radar beam is bent electronically. They look like a checkered flat disc or flat polygon. You do need two, one on each side of the ship. Three if you want finer coverage.

I was thinking on using a ring from the spaceship nose.

Any further comment about the general extern look?
Now I am working on the interiors.

Hi KevinW. I am aware this is not the tipical shape for a spaceship. But can you please give any reason against it?

What I found, on the last screenshots is the small (propellers? lights?) on both sides of the egg, they seem a bit anecdotic… What about having them a bit more integrated in the main shell? Otherwise, this is great design!
