Servo control, script question

I’m using a script to control my players movement, and I’m using this (own.setLinearVelocity (x,y,z)) piece of code in particular, my question is, is there away to be able to ignore a certain axis of movement when applying the velocity?

In my game the way I have it now is; I am using the code for x and y movement so I always have z set to 0, but this makes my player unable to fall, which is the issue, and I don’t know how to fix this.

You can set the z to own.getLinearVelocity(True)[2]

AsCE I tried this but it didn’t work, I still hover in the air. Any other Ideas?

EDIT: Thank you this did work, I just forgot to delete something in my script :slight_smile:
