hello everyone,
I’m not sure if this is the place to ask, but I’ll do it anyway
I was wondering if there is a way to “force” blender to look in a certain directory right after startup. I’ll explain my reason so it doesn’t sound to wierd
We have a “launch appilcation” here where I work. Since we have many projects going at the same time, we have a utility that helps us navigate through the pipeline. So I would chose my [ project ] then [ film ] and then [ shot ]. After that I click my “maya” button and all the search paths needed for that shot is now set by the launch application (which leads maya to a correct workspace.mel file).
Anyhow… so how would I go about a mimic this behavior for Blender? Would there be a command line thing you can do? because I can’t find it, or can I manipulate some other settings that forces blender to set the correct values?
best regards
