Set playback range to animation range? The button is gone?

If I load an action, or animate anything, there will be a range of keyframes.

Until yesterday I had a button on the Timeline header that would automatically set the Frame Range to the range of keys in the timeline. It is gone, don’t know why.

I’ve been searching all over the internet for a reference to this button and I don’t see it anywhere. I look in the Blender manual: that button isn’t there. I’m beginning to doubt my own sanity here…is this a glitch in the Matrix??

I’m so used to it being there, using it all the time, I can’t even recall the exact name of it. “Set Playback to Animation Range” or something like that. I assume I’ve done something to break it/turn it off. I’m going through all my addons/scripts folders, downloads folder, can’t find where it came from.

Somebody, please: am I nuts?

I dont know such a button, did you use an addon?
BTW if you press POS1 maybe this does what you want.

It seems like it must have been an addon, but I can’t find where it came from. It’s making me crazy.

POS1? Sorry I don’t understand that reference. I know the various ways to set the start and end frames, but that button was a big convenience.

I hope somebody know what I’m talking about. I’m really thinking I did something that broke it, or turned it off…but I’m drawing a blank.

The key “POS1”, near INSERT, END, PAGE UP/DOWN.

The home key ?

Oh, yes, iam on a german layout, calls HOME on an englisch one. I forgotten to translate.

It is bpy.ops.object.expykit_action_to_range()

Check your installation of EXPYKIT or just reinstall it…

That’s it!! Thank you so much.

rigoletto: grab expykit. I hated being without this button.
