Okay, so I’ve got this setup, but I have no idea how to get the textures to show up in the 3D window Shaded, potato mode wont help, tried making hte materials shaded, etc. etc, still can’t do it. Help? The *.blend file, just in case.
The blend file isn’t compressed. Therefor it comes without the blueprints.
You made an image texture and checked Texface.
If you didin’t UV-mapping, the UV-map can’t be shown in potatoe mode and the image texture is “hidden” by the not existing UV-map.
Only UV-mapping, and potatoe mode works fine for me.
slap silly me. So only uvmapped textures can be seen in potato mode?
Well, either way, I assigned some uv’s and looks great now. off to model. thanks!
