shaded mode lighting

When in shaded mode that uses the scene lighting (CTRL-Z), is there a way to make Blender automaticly recalculate the lighting when a frame is changed (either manualy or ALT-A is pressed)?

my trick has been to do animated lighting tests in textured or potatoe mode (alt+z) with the meshes altered so that they work there.

Would you be so kind to explain in detail? I’m not sure I understand how to do this.
