Shader turning black. Help please!

I imported an OBJ model into Blender 2.78 and i cant figure out why is not showing the material during render in cycles. I tried to Recalculate the mesh, the normals are displayed corectly, i have a light source and is still black. Is something im missing ? Attached the blend file.

In the mesh data settings under the ‘Geometry Data’ panel use the ‘clear the custom split normals data’ button


You need to have a camera for a render to show when you render it.

This is usually an import export thing on game engines with obj files. You need to hit your spacebar and clear custom split normals.
