Shadow Catcher compositing problem

Hello, everyone,I am following along in some compositing and matchmoving tutorials I bought, and I have run into an issue I can’t seem to figure out. I am placing some CG elements against a live action plate. I am using a plane as a shadow catcher. However, the finished composite clearly shows the plane as a lighter area than the rest of the image. I am guessing it is some kind of multiplication sort of thing that can be resolved in the node editor, but I am stumped. I have attached a screen shot. I set up my tracking points, do the tracks and the camera solver, then hit the Set Up Tracking Scene and Set As Background buttons. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks!Joe

in the render property window shading options change alpha from sky to transparent.

Thanks, Animatola! That did the trick. I knew it was something basic I was overlooking.
