Shadow Problem in the BGE

Hey everybody. I am trying to get buffered shadows to work with planes that usw ztransparency!
As you can see on the image buffered shadows do work in the viewport for the planes as a whole object. When I start the Game Engine the shadows dissappear for all objects that use ztransparency. Is there a possibility to get the shadows work in the game engine when the faces use ztransparency??? I don’t need alpha shadows. I just want a shadow for a whole plane… as if the plane is just a solid object?

Ztrans objects don´t cast shadows, only with alpha shadows build

In my opinion you should bake the shadows to a texture!

Thanks alot for your answers. Good to know where Blender is right now. Do you know if this alpha build will get into the main branch?

I’ve baked now some Shadows for leafs. looks much better!!!
