hey opensourceblenderheads
maybe you know that i’m working on “Journey to the Center of Earth” all the time. sometimes it happens that i need a rest from all the EC stuff… so there’s no better way to do some random blending.
i modeled a future- style hover car… messed around with it, created materials, deleted them, created new ones, deleted them again, made a short movie with it, found out that it sucked, made new materials, deleted them again… finally i realized that the modeling came out best without complicated materials. here’s the final image:
any comments?
pleeze no suggestions… i dont wanna delete it, make new materials, delete them again, add new light, re-render it, lose it on my hd, search it, dont find it, re-model and render it again…
it’s done with a plane and a wave effect on it, the texture is a regular cloud tex which is linked to a moving empty [or animated offset values, doesnt matter] alpha is switched on and i lit it from the back with a halo spot…
well… didnt you read my post?

uhm… then you might wear some real strange shoes
about the textures… i think it’s impossible to make perfect textures for this model without losing too much of the modeled features of it. that’s why i kept it untextured in the final version.
