Right now, I’m trying to apply a toon shading to a new model I’m making, and at the moment, I’m struggling to get, how should I say it, “native shadows”.
What I mean is that instead of adding black as the shadow in ColorRamp, the ColorRamp node instead uses the color from the image texture and saturates it as a substitute to the generic black shader.
All of those nodes and options are in Blender 3.0. The only difference between my node tree and yours is a Color Mix node, which Blender has had since at least 2.7 if not earlier
Fully understandable… i also sometimes thing: “What?”… especially when the nodes are “renamed” to some weird thing… or the “unused slots” hidden via Ctrl-H … and so are also hiding the values
