Hey guys! I am trying to make a grass scattering system and I want to disable shadow for the grass and not the actual mesh, but when I disable shadows for the mesh it’s scattering nothing happens and there’s still shadows for the scattered. When I turn off shadows for the terrain the shadows disappears for both. Is there a way to only turn off the shadow for the scattered grass?

What mesh? Cannot even start to follow your random delivery of thoughts here.
Post scene images, which show some details of what you’re working with, and what the issue is.
I have a landscape mesh and a grass mesh to scatter. I want to remove the shadow from the scattered mesh that’s already on the landscape, but when I turn off shadows on the grass mesh it doesn’t do anything

Is the grass a mesh (actual blades of modelled grass), or an image map with an alpha mapped onto a poly face? (I believe the latter, but checking.) If an image map, show us a screenshot of the material.

What version of blender are you using?
Also, there’s no need to crop the screenshots like that. At times we may need to see something you cropped out.
