The textures aren’t working, pack the textures into the blend file and then uploaded it again…

Now your textures aren’t working…

For god sake lol , i don’t know what im doing wrong just keave it , thank you anyway, unless u want to try teamviwer it allows u to view and control my pc

Controlling your pc? You should never let a random person on the internet into your computer…
I’m sorry I couldn’t help you…

i can easily colse it off and besides i don’t think your going to mess around lol, your only fixing somthing in blender

I know but I’m just saying… Just try not to let anyone into your computer at all. They could get your IP address and do random things later on. It’s happened to me before.
And still, I’m sorry I couldn’t help you.

http://www.pasteall.org/blend/17998 here’s one last try  .

It still didn’t work…
But I made something really quickly to show you how you should have your setting so it can work.
In this file, if you press P, you’ll notice it cast shadows. I clicked cast buffer shadow in the cube’s settings, added a spotlight, and then made the spotlight cast buffer shadows…
It seems that GLSL, or maybe it doesn’t not sure, only cast “Buffer Shadows”

Here’s the file-----> http://www.pasteall.org/blend/17999

EDIT: I’ve tried everything. It just won’t cast a shadow unless it’s a Buffer Shadow…

And spotlights are the only lamps that cast buffer shadows…

Ok thank you very much for that, im sure i can get it working from that

YAY! I helped you out! I told myself, “I am not leaving, until you figure it out!” Mission accomplished!

Ok comes to realise the problem dosnt lie in the lamps, its the leaves on the trees, everything else casts its shadow correctly useing the settings u provided

Yeah…
I’m not sure why that happens… Maybe because of the texture itself… Like the leaves were transparent, right?

ya there transparent, and it seems its just the leaves were the problem lies now , i ticked reiceve transparent textures on both leaves and the ground , still no luck

Yeah… that shouldn’t be happening…
Have you tried shrinking it the scene? Or increasing the “clip end” on the spotlight?

ya tried both :frowning:
