I am fairly new to Blender.
I have modeled and rigged a character and made some shape keys for it (mostly facial expressions)
However, I have decided that it (He ;-)) needs some remodeling, which I did… All of a sudden, shape keys still do what they were supposed to do (morph the face), but they also weardly distort the body of the character. (I have changed body mesh, so I kind of expected something like this). So, I have decided to select head vertex group and add it to the shape keys, which seems to have removed the problem…
So far so good!
Buuuut! What happened to the keys that made distortions in my mesh? Do they still lurk somewhere around to hurt me, or are they gone forever? (I have some bad experiences with other animation packages)
This really bugs me, considering the fact that the Blend file has grown after this modifications. If those extra keys were deleted, shouldn’t my file shrink? (I haven’t added anything else to my character)
Any ideas?
