Yeah, I guess that’s the concept. It didn’t look like you had the empties parented to the object. I would think that would be the best.

I added an empty (on collision gets added in) with 2 other empties parented to it… these parented empties then add in (using the same collision info) the shard pieces at the right co-ordinates…
working on them giving off nice particles when the hit the ground or whatever… will post it too
