Shed

hey
samples: 1000
Render Time:70 houres (by the way i’ve got a realy bad and slow computer (acer aspire one))
what is your thoughts, criticism

cheers

reflections are way too high for a shed floor. and 70 hour for such a simple scene is obnoxious. i would consider switching back to BI, your computer will thank you!

it is ment to be be a show room floor a friend of mine is making a car
cheers

He modelled the whole lot and that includes the corrugated iron

70 hours per 1000 samples for that noisy scene?, holy guacamole, you should tell your friend to render that himself, or switching to BI, if you are looking for realism, your materials setup is your biggest problem, you should use texture for the wood, the modeling of the corrugated iron is unusual and looks fake, also the drum barrel of the rolling steel door doesn’t match with width of the rest of the door, man you have a lot of wrong things there, I suggest you (or your friend) to look for some reference images.

my friend is moddling a car why it took 70 hours is
i should planing to reduce the shine and i’ll put the woodgraine on the struts and i need to fix the roller door and i just notice on the wall with the roller door there is a gap of light, does anyone have any ideas of why there is so much noise

It’s our computers not anything else

The noise is because the Light Paths, you are using values too high for your machine power, for you I suggest setting the values not higher than 4 for all bounciness, you can also check the option “No Caustics” for a faster and cleaner render, also remember correcting your material settings, less reflectivity is equal to a less noisy image.

Remember looking some reference images, if you want a professional look, that’s important.

yeah thanks for that advice an update will be coming soon

Oh gosh another 40 hours I have an idea try creating a texture jason

after the no caustics it only took 8-10 hours thanks heaps Dr. Caballo and no azzaisme i’m not sinking that low just for render speeds
