this is a 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe im working, not sure if its any good or im any good at this but, wanted to get others opinions and advice. I still in the learning stages of modelling, maybe intermediate skill level, i guess thats where im at. i have tried doing cars off of varioustutorials and i thought mine turned out horrible. might be because i was comparing mine to the one in the tutorial, from someone who has been doing this longer than me. so this time i decided to do a car i havent even seen a model for. well please tell me what you think and if you have any advice or anything you see that needs fixed please let me, i enjoy doing this and want to be at least as good as the stuff i see in here.
A classic car!! 3 things I see… There is a little pinching/raised spot at the top of the back window. The windshield looks like it has a raised spot in the middle of it, mainly down by the hood. Need edgeloops to sharpen the edges in spots - mainly at the front and back of the door, where the body and back of door meet, at the back of the hood/fender, and at the back of the front wheel well. It’s really starting to look nice!!

yeah most of things ive seen just havent fixed them yet, mainly working on the hood. i do have a questions maybe you or someone can answer . the hole in the middle of the hood gets extruded down then have to edge loop it to get the right shape i get a crease all the way to the wheel well, i think this is the same thing that happened by the back window. how do i keep this from happening or how do i fix it?
i completely redid almost the whole body, havent redone the glass yet thats why its absent from this image i think this looks much better, just want some second opinions and what everyone else thinks.

Nice CheMo ah, I like it very much. Thanks for your sharing. A great help to me, I hope you to share more material, thank you
looks like more like a porsh but still looks good for a fan of ford never knew shelby made a hard top corba
well might not have heard of it because there were only six made, they ran the 1965 and won the FIA GT series, ran at daytona, sebring, le mans, and the tracks in europe, Carroll Shelby made this car to beat Enzo Ferrari in europe
Looking good, the re-work you did!! Can’t wait to see more… Still having problems with the duct in the hood you previously mentioned?
@shaggy26 - never heard of a cobra daytona???:spin: It seems to me there were only 6 made because Carroll Shelby was forced to drop the project to work on the GT-40… But I could be wrong about that…
Randy
yes i still have the problem in the hood duct when i make a loop cut to put the sharp corners in i get creases down the hood from front to back or all the way to the side. i dont know enough to keep it from doing this yet. i am wondering if any one can tell me how to fix this or keep it from happening in the first place. in the pic i have more problem with the red corner, or the front one, the back corner(green) doesn’t seem to do this.

here is the wheel that i was going to put on my shelby daytona, but then after looking for some pictures to work on the door, i found that this wheel wasnt on the 65 but on a reproduction Shelby made i think in the 90’s, dont know might still use it, because it was a pain to get right, i dont know what do you guys think, use it or make the correct which looks like it might be harder to make, heres pictures of both my model and then correct wheel and a pic of whole care if you havent looked up one yet. i really want to know what people, thanks to those of you who have responded but i want more responses, it will help me do a better job of modelling. thanks again for the help
