Hello, just opened my own sketchbook thread… Here is my 1st post in blender community…
Made it by following a tutorial at Instagram – Quick Honey Pancakes
The DOF is too much I know… ![]()
Yay, new Sketchbook! Welcome to BA! ![]()
That’s a lovely model, but yeah, too much DOF, nothing at all is left in focus, and I bet we would enjoy it a lot if it were all crisp.
I don’t think I’d use DOF at all for this render.
Thank you for your comment… I haven’t used DOF any more in my next models which I will show off here soon. ![]()
Looking forward to it!
As Piranha said- welcome to the sketchbook section
it’s a thriving micro-community of enthusiastic people, I’m glad you’ve joined it! You have a really good eye for color, I love your palette here. I’ll be watching this thread with great interest ![]()
Thank you. You’ve made my day better.![]()
3rd post-- Also followed another Grant Abbitt tutorial on YouTube for simple pumpkin modeling(no sculpting yet) and world lighting practice…
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. though I am just a beginner and my work is not perfect at all but still this is quite an inspiration for me to try harder and achieve more perfection…
I am really grateful…![]()
4th post-- I tried glass rendering in Blender today… Not copied totally but followed a tutorial on YouTube by 3dgreenhorn…
Tried a simple isometric bedroom . Tutorial followed from YouTube by 3dGreenHorn but added a bit of my own style like colors, light, photoframe, etc.
Just a bowl of some stylized foods I’ve made for practice. Not perfect, but very simple and quick funny stuff you can say. This is my own creation though. I haven’t followed any tutorial. Just tried to remember and use some beginner blender skill I’ve learnt till now.
