That’s pretty good, but it would be more realistic if he were looking down the barrel. And is it just me, or does it seem like he has darker hair in the original photo than he does in real life?
thats hillarious! although i think you should substitute bush’s face with a photo of a chimp…there’s such a striking likeness that nobody would notice the difference, yet it would make the pic be more effective in its purpose…blabla what a bunch of horse shit!
I wonder how many of us are on the FBI’s “watch” list for being “anti-patriots”?
That barrel idea is pretty good. And yes, he does have lighter hair in real life because he was younger when this picture was taken. I think it was from his days in congress.
Not a good idea. Then how would we know that it was Bush? I also have nothing against him, just the war with Iraq, which this photo isn’t really illustrating.
Hopefully not me. I don’t want to be on anybody’s “list”.
Where the hell is his gold tooth?? :<
Didn’t he sell it so he can afford to go to war? :<
Sonix.
Interesting that no one cares about the plight of the Iraqi people under Sadam…
Guys look alot like chimps when you’re high.
Interesting that there are some humanitarians who care about the plight of the Iraqi people while their cities are being bombed, and while their people are being exploited for cheap labor.
I don’t think that it’s that nobody cares, it’s just that some people think that the US invoking war on Iraq will make things worse for the people. I am all for peaceful resolutions, and I would fully support the US if we have to go to war, but I doubt the need to go to war.
Heh heh. Yeah, removing Saddam will make things alot worse for the Iraqi people! hahah. If you believe that, I’ve got some bridges to sell ya…
Ask yourself…if YOUR country was ruled by Saddam, would you want someone to remove him for you? If you say no, you simply don’t know much about Saddam.
If Canada, or one of our neighbors was ruled by a guy like Saddam, we would natually want to help our neighbors. But because they’re half a world away, people just don’t care as much. The humanitarian side is the side to rid those people of Saddam.
Can you say you are for peace when there will be NO peace within Iraq until he is gone?
Most people simply have no idea what peace means. It DOESN’T mean a simple lack of war. It means people can live without fear of a tyrannical dictator who tortures his own people.
There are countries that the people are a lot worse off than in Iraq, some of the African countries have been at war for years (tribal fighting) where there is attempted genocide occuring today. Do we help them?? NO we don’t. Why don’t we help them?? Simple, they don’t have any resources that we want or need.
Get real, going to war with Iraq has nothing to do with helping the people of Iraq, it has everything to do with controlling the second biggest oil deposit in the world. There’s more talk about saving the oil fields than there is about not killing innocent people, rather they talk about how many innocent people it’s ok to kill to save the oil.
P.S. Nice job on the picture, shibbydude. Looney toons is just the right feel for him.
I think it’s funny that people try to belittle the presidents motives by saying, “it’s all for the oil.”
Here’s my take on it.
Saddam has never proven himself honest and has never proven himself safe. His desire and motivation lies in manifesting his image by exploiting his power. In a world where peace is nessecary for a mutual cooperation to increase the standard of living for poor countries, Saddam is an obstacle. In his very, corrupt nature, he has tendancies to aid terrorist organizations by way of selling arms or other means. Saddam is a nuissance and one who could and has had the power to dissrupt the already delicate peace in the middle east. It just seems natural to me that such a person, with such an influence, needs to be delt with. Not by popping the head off the dandy lion but by pulling the whole dandy out of the ground by its roots do you kill it.
About helping African nations:
Good. First good point raised by anyone against the war. But the answer is obvious-
None of the African nations can and will have and use nuclear weapons in the next decade.
You are right if you say that it is not JUST about the Iraqi people, but wrong if you think it’s not good to go in and help them. (In my opinion!)
Why not help these people? Because we can’t help everyone? Democrats have never shown their colors so clearly than in this conflict. Look at Tom Daschle.
