Hey BA, quick question!
I have rendered a car model that uses a lot of different materials, including transparent Lexan etc—it’s all against an asphalt background. I just learned that I have to re-render a small portion of the model as I need to edit a texture. So, to avoid a long re-render time I’m switching from ‘center’ to ‘left to right’ and cropping the camera to only the area I need to re-render. Does cropping as such shift or make the pixels any different? I mainly don’t want to be surprised when I overlay this newer portion of the render onto the larger original. I’d like to toggle the new layer on and off in photoshop and not see any pixel difference from the pixels surrounding the updated texture area.
