As there isn’t a relevant forum suitable for real life maritime simulations I will return to to posting on the completed games forum listing the available maritime simulation downloads.

I was sidetracked by the changed format of the srtm2 Blender script. However having tried a few routes using greyscale any further routes I make I will just use greyscale based on srtm2. As I have made 45 routes 25km to 45 km before the script changed I will return to posting on the ‘completed games’ forum (i.e simulator routes are never completed as always something can be made to replace or alter),. I have put the first 5 maritime routes back online to download, and as they have been online before I will probably replace them with the next 5 in a few days.

i will probably be using routes that i have already made 20km to 45 km. Basic Solway to Thame routes. However much depends on future Blender Game Engine changes as I can only make available routes with total zip size at about 10 to 15 megs. Not 100 megs if independant of Blender and not integrated so will see what happens.

Solway Firth available for download, remade with scenarios, with early paddle steamer with sail. For terrain using actual photos for textures. I think three are enough and for flattish areas, sand, sand with grass, grass. For hilly or mountain areas rock, rock with with grass, grass. As I appear to be the only one making maritime routes on these forums it seems a waste of Blenders potential!

Repaired a few faults of Solway Firth route and available for download. pretend 1815
Drivable early paddle steamer with sail, schooner on preset course, scenario collect two cargoes of barrels.
As I seem to be the only one on these forums making maritime simulations/routes perhaps post if others… perhaps aground in the backwaters and creeks of the world!
