hey there ed…you have some fun little tests here. i like these characters and how they move - keep going!
I finished another animation test. This time I wanted to play with smears and multiples in 3D. Check it out and tell me what you think.
And another animation test, this time a 2d animation walk cycle.
A new animation. I had a problem making a playblast (opengl render). For some strange reason there is a problem with the floor and it appears much higher than it actually is. The weird thing is that whenever i move the clipping of the camera, the level of the floor seems to change. I rendered some pictures with cycles and blender internal and everything seems to be fine, so I wonder what could be the problem.
Anyways, here it is.
Tell me what do you think about it!!!
Really loved the 2d walk cycle, it has great energy. The mushroom thing was pretty cool too. You clearly have a good grasp of the fundamentals of animation, I think you should move on to something bigger. Why not write a short script involving no more than 2 characters and make it. Animation tests are great but your audience wants something a little meatier.
I didn’t now i had an audience:). Thank you a lot for your comment. Right now i’m focusing on doing a lot of short shots so I can improve my animation skills (fundamentals) and then move on to lipsync and acting. Anyways making animated shorts is not off the table, I just need to feel more confortable with my skills.
Here is the rendered version of the mushroom shot:
