Should 3d become indistuingishable between real life.

Chances are people will use it to get away with snuff films and other illegal activities but this can be fixed you could link proof your video or picture is fake by taking a screenshot of the scene not fully rendered.
It would also be awesome if 3d became that realistic we can now see how fictional characters would look like in real life and we could use it to recreate disasters for educational purposes.

Unless the signal is in sync & direct connection with a brain… but even then, the uncanny valley will stay, as we evolve with the tech we become more aware of what tech does. ie: real VS lie.
I only feel sorry for those who strive hard to escape into an illusion, allowing others to kill in their names. But that already happens daily.
There’s more to Matrix, Blade Runner, Metropolis… than eye can see. Art is the prophecy… and we’re all part of the story.

A murder is an illegal activity and it’s used all the time in movies.

If it gets to that point where we can’t distinguish real people from cgi then we wouldn’t really know.

Edit: Misread your post. Sorry

I also realized people with good memory can frame people of stealing or murder by making an animation in Blender then the person could delete blender and any blender related file to not show proof he is a modeller and he could easily get away with it if 3d become realistic.

Trouble is, deleting a file on your computer always leaves a footprint. When you remove a file, you’ve just removing the index location for it, the actual file itself is still there until it gets overriden. If you become a suspect soon enough and your IT equipment seized, then there’s still a chance that the incriminating file can be found.

I don’t see this becoming a serious problem.

3D by nature is still very complex, and the average lawbreaker is not going to go through the trouble of downloading Blender and creating a perfectly photorealistic crime scene in order to frame someone (it would take far too long providing they even have the patience to learn it).

It would still be far easier to frame someone using traditional methods (and far faster, which falls in line with the instant results the average crook prefers).

Most file formats leave a footprint inside the file so… this isn’t going to be a real problem.

also every recording device, production machine leaves it’s stamp on the product, work… be it video, audio or any other medium. It is easier to get away with the analog tech and skills, since those can be indistinguishable from the original.
If it ever becomes possible then another creation could really be made in even less than 7 days.
