i think alpha takes the image size of the top image and puts it out. make sure both input images the face and the background, are the same size.

thanks for your reply both the images are the same size

ok thanks for the replys here is the blend file

http://s28.quicksharing.com/v/6762561/help.blend.html

are you sure that both pix are the same size? from the looks of the clipping, I would say that the wu pic is at 1280 x1024

I couldn’t dl the blend btw…

they are both 300X200 pixles what error messege did you get when you tried downloading the blend file?

it counts down 20 seconds then says download file in a greyish sort of color you just click on that and it downloads

your face is a renderlayer output, and so is output according to your settings, which is 75% of 640x512, which is 480x384, NOT 300x200. But your Image input of your background is, so Alpha uses the 300x200, taking the middle 300x200 of your 480x384, thus clipping off (480-300)/2 or 90 pixels of the head pic top and bottom, and corresponding side pixels.

To solve, set your render output to 300x200. i bet. if not, I will eat chocolate until i burp.

you could increase the x and y dimensions of your render or use the scale node which is CVS and in the RC1 candidate (I think).

Cheers,

Bob

i ate chocolate anyway, in celebration of being right for once. burp.

nice always any excuse to eat chocolate
