Hi, after 2 months, I’m happy to show you my last project, a siberian tiger.

HD : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2016/30/1469818258-render.png

Some details about the wip :

  1. I started by a sculpt in zbrush, to model the global form and the muscles.

  2. I did the retopo… texturing… and I refined the model and proportions. In blender.
  3. Fur ! Materials and render

I hope you will like it

Truly a masterpiece my mind can’t even process how you managed to achieve this kind of realism.
Great work my friend keep it up

Very nicely done, excellent proportions in the modeling and sculpt. My only thought is that the hair seems to lay too flat on a large portion of the body, leading to an unnaturally smooth outline, something I had to really struggle against with my jaguar – combing the millions of hair strands needed is not at all a trivial task, eh?

Incredible realism! Thought it was a photo  ~

Wonderful! I love it. I just think back paws are a bit too close together, may be? But otherwise - applaud!

Thank you for all your comments.
I agree with your critics, but I really need to start a new projet ^^

Hello,
I just made a little animation test
For the moment I don’t have a lot of time so this is very short. I planned to improved it later.

Hello,

I recently did new renders of this model

I changed the fur, the lighting, the pose etc. I wanted to make him more realist.

Hats off to you sir. This is amazing work.

What sort of render time does a HD frame take?

(Quentin Le Duff) #14

Hi, thank you
The render time depends of a lot of things.
I am rendering in GPU with a Nvidia 960GTX geforce.
With all optimization parameters I can reduce the render time to 2min, this is the setup I used for the turnaround.
For a best quality render the time is longer… That depends of the samples amount… I would say something like 10min maximum with my config.

Wow, 10 minutes maximum is still amazing for such quality.

Great job.
