I like this, would be nice to have a more zoomed in render so that you can see the gun and it’s parts better.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about making another one that is more zoomed in and also has the slide locked back and a few other features I included. The gun really is completely functional, so it would be cool to showcase some of its features.

Yeah that would work well, especially if you rigged it so you can easily move any part of it.

Hints for composition:

Go for up-close. This shows off your model much better.

Work on the texturing of the table top and use DOF for everything else in the room.

That room is GIGANTIC. Make it smaller. Put some natural lighting in. Set your furniture on the floor.

Main reason I clicked is because anyone who sets their gun on the table like that is likely to get shot (or shoot someone else in the home) when it falls over, if they are dense enough to leave it loaded. At the very least the impact between the gun and the tabletop will not do either object any good.

tl;dr: Don’t ever leave a gun standing like that. Lay it down naturally on a gun cloth or tool pad or something. This will avoid turning off people who know how to handle the things and add interest to the scene as a much more natural composition.

Good start! Don’t stop yet!

Haha, that is true, espically considering the reputation of the P320 to discharge when dropped.

I have the new render here!
